A Texas resident, I’m sad and angry about what happened on Tuesday, May 24. A gunman killed at least 19 children and a teacher at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX.

Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association, made a passionate plea for gun reform before the NBA playoff game that evening between the Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks.

“When are we going to do something?” said Kerr.

Exactly.
