“Great” Public Speakers

“Great public speakers are born, not made.”

Do you believe this?

I don’t. From personal experience.

I taught college public speaking classes for years. Helping a student excel was less about “teaching” than “coaching.”

The same thing is true for leaders in organizations including CEOs, managers and employees who give presentations to internal and external audiences.

Encouraging, supporting, believing in people — sometimes helping them overcome their fear of public speaking — can unlock the door to success.
